6th Annual Aftab Patla Memorial Cup, Waterloo ON - March 30th, 2012
Students, staff, faculty, and alumni watched an exciting hockey game of undergraduate students vs. graduate students/faculty/staff. Just over $4000 was raised a towards sustaining an undergraduate scholarship in KIN named after Dr. Aftab Patla - our Professor, Mentor and Friend, who passed away with cancer in 2007.

Special guests, Alumni Paul Marchildon, Bob Hunter, and Astha Ramaiya, along with President Feridun Hamdullahpur, offer congratulations and words of advice to the Applied Health Sciences graduating students.
Speed Networking - Career Night, Waterloo, ON - January 10th, 2012
27 AHS Alumni returned to campus to answer career-related questions and give advice to 115 AHS students. The event included the launch of the Ask AHS Alumni online mentoring program, allowing the Faculty's students to have their questions answered by AHS alumni throughout the year.
