First-year students

Welcome to the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences! Congratulations on your admission and decision to attend the University of Waterloo. We want to get you up to speed on the happenings here in Applied Health Sciences and help connect you to the resources you'll need for a successful first year.

Course selection takes place in July and your advisors are available to assist you.

Plan to attend Orientation Week, where you'll meet your classmates and key personnel in your department, and get to know your way around campus.

Throughout first year, be sure to take advantage of the University's study skills tips, and the Faculty's review sessions and mentorship program to learn helpful tips from the pros.
