As communications manager, Michelle Douglas-Mills plans and directs communications strategies and resources for the Faculty. She works on a wide variety of special communications projects and publications to serve the Faculty's various audiences and can assist with the following:
- managing the Faculty's visual identity and positioning, including direction on use of university wordmarks, colour palette, terminology etc.
- consulting on production of promotional items (e.g., zap banners, Tshirts, giveaways), written promotional pieces (e.g., brochures, advertising), and web content
- posting the Faculty's online news and event postings
- liasing with faculty members and the university's Media Relations Office to identifying stories for news releases and identifying faculty experts/spokespeople to meet specific media requests
