Student life
In the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences we recognize that an outstanding student experience should go far beyond the lecture hall. There are a wealth of experiences waiting for you to explore:
- Get involved in the AHSUM, our faculty student society
- Participate in hands-on activities like a Kinesiology lab, a Health Studies tutorial, or a Recreation practicum and start connecting theory to the real world.
- Take part in an international exchange; like Alison who travelled to Australia.
- Take advantage of the weCONNECTu mentorship program to connect with upper-year students.
- Get involved in a student club – there are over 150 on campus! A few (like the University of Waterloo International Health Development Association) were even created by our own students!
