Allergy experts share findings on food allergy prevalence and perceptions

Anaphylaxis is a serious adverse side effect and life threatening condition. Research is going into developing a better understanding to reduce the risks associated with allergic reactions. Waterloo’s Dean of the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences, Susan Elliott, and other leading experts share their findings of the SCAALAR study on prevalence and perceptions of food serious food allergies in Canada.
