In an effort to reduce paper consumption and to engage available electronic mediums, Central Stores has implemented numerous changes to our materials handling and request procedures. Please familiarise yourself with the changes listed below, so that the transition will be smoother.
Central Stores catalogue:
Central Stores will no longer provide a hard copy of the Central Stores catalogue.
You can find the catalogue online here.
All pricing information is now listed. Pricing is subject to change without notice at any time throughout the year. If you do not see an item in the catalogue, then Central Stores no longer carries it. Many of the forms are now on-line. Please check with the department who originated the form if you do not see it in the catalogue.
Stores requisition form:
The on-line Central Stores Form has also slightly changed. You may now submit it electronically and it will give you a unique number as well as send a copy of the requisition to your email. Please make sure you enter your email address correctly so you do receive the copy. On or before Sept. 1, 2009, we will be discontinuing the hard copy of the Central Stores Requisition. You can find the online Central Stores Requisition here.
Direct mailing:
Our Direct Mailing Services are also now on-line. When wanting Central Stores to do a mailing for you, just email Tony Chaves with your account number and all of the information regarding your mailing.
Lettermail & Canada post:
Please go to our Mail Pick Up and Delivery page:
Here you will find Tips for success with lettermail items as well as the up to date Canada Post rates.
University of Waterloo web based shipping (Agile Elite):

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
