Roentgenium: The tile of element 111, roentgenium, has an X-ray of a rib cage in the middle of the element. This represents the German physicist Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen, whom on November 8th, 1895, produced and detected an electromagnetic radiation in the wavelength region of X-rays. This won him a Nobel Prize in Physics in 1901. This tile has been created from recycled goods. The bones are made of paper plates, paint, and glue. The black x-ray image is a piece of trash bag and the base for the tile is cardboard trimmed in aluminum foil.
