This group offers a safe, confidential space in which to talk about the stressors in school and life, emotions (including problems with anxiety and depression), and relationships.

• Develop a better understanding of yourself and your relationships

• Understand how your specific thoughts, feelings, and behaviors may maintain depression or anxiety—and learn how to make changes.

• Share your experience, get feedback, and explore new ways of expressing yourself and relating to others in a safe and confidential context.

Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention for Problematic Substance Use

This 8 week class is designed to help you:

Develop awareness triggers and cravings and learn new ways to respond rather than react to them. Learn how to tolerate discomfort and practice skills for relating to challenging emotional and physical experiences. Engage a mindful approach toward yourself and your experiences and learn tools that support long-term recovery.

Friday, October 24, 2014 - 1:30 pm

Mind. Body. Run.

Come run/walk and let go of stress through being present in your movement.

What?

This group offers students the opportunity to take a break, get outside, and run/walk using the basic principles of mindfulness (being present in a non-judgemental mindset). Participants will receive weekly mindful meditations to consider prior to each run/walk, as well as have the opportunity to connect with other group members and stay accountable.  All you have to do is sign-up and show-up!
