Waterloo Engineering Alumni Reception in Ottawa

We warmly invite you to join us at this exciting Waterloo Engineering alumni reception at the beautiful Restaurant des Beaux-Arts located within the stunning National Gallery of Canada on the banks of the Ottawa River. The Restaurant des Beaux-Arts has it's own glass rotunda, access to a private terrace and an inspiring view of Nepean Point and Parliament Hill beyond.

The speaker of the evening is Leslie Klein (BASc 1973), President and CEO of C-Com Satellite Systems Inc. who will deliver a keynote address titled “Passion, Focus and Drive: My Entrepreneurial Journey.”

Leslie Klein is the president and CEO of C-COM Satellite Systems Inc., located in Ottawa. He co-founded C-COM in 1997 and the company has been growing ever since in it's niche market of satellite communications. C-COM’s advanced satellite-based mobile antennas are used throughout the world, with over 3,000 of the iNetVuTM Mobile units deployed with such organizations as NASA, the US Army, Navy and AirForce, Telesat, Schlumberger, France Telecom, NATO Forces and many more. These units are used as mobile passport offices, mobile post offices, mobile health clinics, ambulances, police and fire vehicles, just to name a few.
