Applicants from a Collège d’enseignement général et professionel (CEGEP)

This page covers admission requirements for students currently enrolled in a CEGEP.

How to apply

All CEGEP students submit their applications through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre.

As a CEGEP student, all grades will be sent electronically by your school.  Check out our admissions timeline and deadlines page.

Course requirements

CEGEP students must complete the following courses for admission:

  • Secondary V Chemistry (Grade 11 Chemistry)
  • Calculus I
  • 2 of English 603 or 604 series
  • Mechanics

1 of the following:

  • Electricity & Magnetism
  • Waves, Optics & Modern Physics
  • Chemistry I

1 of the following: 

  • Linear Algebra
  • Calculus II

A minimum final grade of 70% is required in each of these courses.  All of the above courses will be used in the calculation of your admission average.

All applicants to engineering programs will be asked to submit a personal profile, called the Admission Information Form (AIF).  

Applicants to Software Engineering are also required to have experience developing well-structured, modular programs.  Learn more about our required programming experience.
