At the Writing Centre, professional instructors provide a range of services at no charge to help students improve their writing.

Registration: registration for the on-campus exam is not required.
The December exam sitting is for first-year Arts students who received below 80% in grade 12 English. The April exam is for first-year Arts students who received 80% or above in grade 12 English.
Upper-year Arts students who need to write the English Language Proficiency Examination (ELPE) are required to contact the Arts Undergraduate Office to receive permission:

Note:
Location: The exam is administered in the gym of the Physical Activities Complex (PAC).
The PAC has 4 entrances: Blue North, Blue South, Red North, Red South. To avoid crowding, we request that students enter the gym according to the appropriate time and designation. For example, if your last name is Anderson, then you will enter the gym using the lower entrance, the blue north door.
