Environment 3 Donors Celebrate

Thursday, November 17, 2011

Environment 3 donors were treated to an exclusive Donor Reception on November 17th. It was an opportunity both to thank supporters of the ongoing campaign and give many their first chance to see the LEED Platinum-targeted building up-close.

The newly coined Minto Atrium was transformed with music, balloons and tasteful décor to welcome alumni, friends, faculty and staff who have donated to building campaign. Presentations, hosted by Dean Andre Roy featured campaign co-chairs Thomas Mueller and Andrew Pride speaking about the importance of striving for LEED Platinum, Minto VP Joel Bernardi sharing his thoughts on Minto’s million dollar gift to the campaign and ESS President Kevin Knapp thanking all of the donors on behalf of the student body.  All were delighted that keynote speaker from the Alumni Awards, Jay Ingram, not only attended the reception, but happily participated in a lengthy photo call.
