As a student, professor, or staff member in the Faculty of Environment, you have access to a wide variety of labs, studios, and tools.

Many facilities provide equipment which can be used for field trips and research projects. As part of your classes and research projects, you can develop practical skills for your career before you graduate.

Environment computing

Mapping, Analysis and Design (MAD)

  • Services include: computing, remote sensing, GIS, digital/analog imaging, digital/analog video and audio production, website design and maintenance.
  • As a member of the Faculty of Environment, you have access to a wide variety of computing and multimedia facilities.

Labs and workshops

Ecology Lab

  • The Ecology lab is available to everyone in ENV. We offer a wide range of both field and laboratory equipment for your course and research needs.
  • Services include: plant ID, invertebrate, insect collection and analysis; water and soil quality testing, forestry applications, workshops, and equipment demonstration.
