About COSM 2014:
COSM 2014 will be held at the University of Waterloo from June 18 – 21, 2014 and will attract over 250 graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, residents, clinical teams, researchers, industry leaders and government representatives. Over four days, delegates will participate in activities including: guest lectures, panel discussions, trainee oral and poster presentations, an Obesity Expo, career networking and a Collaboration Challenge hosted by the Propel Centre for Population Health Impact. Abstract Submission
The Canadian Obesity Student Meeting Planning Committee invites submissions of abstracts for proposed oral and poster presentations from undergraduate and graduate students and new professionals (within five (5) years graduation of highest degree) from across Canada and abroad. In-progress research presentations are acceptable.
Abstracts must be written in English. The length of the abstracts is the same for oral and poster presentations: a maximum of 250 words in the body of the abstract, plus title and author(s) names and affiliations. No references or acknowledgment sections are required. Visithttp://obesitynetwork.ca/cosm to submit an abstract. Notification of abstract review: April 2, 2014.
Awards and Prizes
There are several CASH prizes available for Best Poster and Oral Presentation for ALL categories of students (undergraduate, Masters, PhD, New Professional).
