Camp Director
The Camp Director works with a team of talented musicians and others to provide a spiritually and musically rich camp experience for teenagers. The director also works in consultation with Ontario Mennonite Music Camp (OMMC) committee members.
We are looking for the following qualities in our Camp Director:
- A commitment to Anabaptist and Mennonite values
- An awareness of the broad range of music used in Anabaptist churches today
- Musical proficiency
- Excellent organization skills
Application deadline: Wednesday, February 29, 2012.
The Camp Director has the following responsibilities:
- Together with OMMC committee members, interview and hire camp staff.
- Create a 12-day schedule for the camp, including guest performances for evening concerts and afternoon workshops.
- Give leadership to the final camp concert by consulting with the choir director and master class instructors.
- Attend to issues and concerns as they arise during camp.
- Meet daily with a small group of campers to facilitate faith-based discussions.

Instructors
Our Instructors work closely with the camp director to provide a spiritually and musically rich camp experience for teenagers.

Choir Instructor
The choir instructor has the following responsibilities:
- Select choral pieces for camp performances.
- Lead daily choir rehearsals and musical rehearsals.
- Work with the camp director to prepare a program for the final camp concert.
- Meet daily with a small group of campers to facilitate faith-based discussions.
- Participate in other areas of camp life as required.

Master Class Instructors – specializing in piano, winds, strings, or voice.
Master Class instructors have the following responsibilities:
- Select music for master class campers.
- Lead daily master class lessons.
- Work with the camp director to prepare a program for the final camp concert.
- Meet daily with a small group of campers to facilitate faith-based discussions.
- Participate in other areas of camp life as required.

Recreation Instructor
The recreation instructor has the following responsibilities:
- Prepare full camp activities for afternoon and evening recreation times.
- Prepare campfires with other camp staff and campers.
- Meet daily with a small group of campers to facilitate faith-based discussions.
- Participate in other areas of camp life as required.
