What is a Front Desk Assistant?
Front Desk Assistants (FDAs) are dynamic student leaders who are hired to provide outstanding customer service to students, parents, visitors, staff and faculty. Each residence community has an FDA working in the main office during the day, evenings and on weekends.
The Desk Services team is now hiring Front Desk Assistants for the fall 2012 and winter 2013 terms!
FDAs are responsible for many aspects of community life including answering questions in person and on the phone, signing out equipment, selling stamps, processing mail and monitoring the central complex or community centre.
This job is a paid position at the rate of $10.50/hour.

FDAs are hired in the following residences:

| Mackenzie King Village | 8 am - 12 midnight, 7 days a week |
| Ron Eydt Village | 24 hours a day, 7 days a week |
| UW Place | 8 am - 12 midnight, 7 days a week |
| Village 1 | 24 hours a day, 7 days a week |
FDA's will be scheduled to work a minimum of 12 hours per week.
