Residence Ambassadors

(formerly Residence Tour Guides)

The Residence Ambassadors Program provides a leadership opportunity for roughly 30 residents, and is a great way to get involved in residence. 

The Residence Ambassador team is made up of first-year and upper-year students who live in residence

The pay rate for this position is $10.25 per hour.

Residence Ambassadors

  • The Ambassadors give tours of their own rooms or suites, and residence facilities, during the set tour times each week
  • They serve as a face for Waterloo Residences, as well as our brand-new summer bridge program, and are knowledgeable about important residence specific information
  • The Ambassadors also participate in special event days such as the Fall and March Break Open Houses and You@Waterloo Day
  • They receive on-going training sessions, attend mandatory team meetings (4 throughout the term), and work towards the end of term Recognition Program
