Academic Streaming
Waterloo Residences works with your academic stream in a couple of ways. First of all, you'll be placed with students who are in the same stream as you. This means that when you come back for your second term you won't have to get used to a new set of friends and a new residence community. And since you only pay for the terms you are in school you don't have to worry about subletting your room while you're away. Have a co-op job in Waterloo? No problem! We've got rooms set aside for co-op students in Columbia Lake Village.
Centre for Career Action
Centre for Career Action, located in the Tatham Centre for Co-operative Education and Career Services (TC), is walking distance from all residences. The office is open Monday to Thursday 8:30 am - 6 pm and Fridays 10 am - 4 pm. They offer a variety of career planning and educational workshops and resources for both co-op and regular students. Centre for Career Action advisors can meet with you for mock interviews, resume critiques, job search advice, and several other services. Centre for Career Action also works with residence life staff to hold workshops right in residence.
