End of term extension request

If you need an extension because of academic course requirements that are due after your move out date, or you have a permanent address from postal codes P or K please contact your Front Desk to make an appointment with your Residence Life Co-ordinator (RLC).

For those living in VeloCity (Minota Hagey), please contact the Mackenzie King Village Front Desk to set up an appointment.

You may book an appointment before April 2nd. Please bring the required documentation for your extension (i.e. note from your professor) to your meeting with your RLC.

No extensions will be granted beyond the final date on your residence contract.

Pre-purchased airline tickets

If you are requesting an extension because you have a plane ticket dated later than 24 hours after your last exam, please follow these instructions.

Email your Residence Life Co-ordinator, before April 2nd, with the following information:

• Subject line: Request for Residence Extension: Plane Ticket
• Body of email:
  • Your full name
  • Your uWaterloo ID number
  • Where you live in residence (house/floor, room number)
  • Date of your last exam
  • Extension date you are requesting
• Attach a copy of your plane ticket.
