University College Residences
University College Residences
The University Colleges are located near the ring road at the south-west corner of campus. If you think you'd enjoy being part of a small, close-knit group where the goal is to build and foster a fun and supportive community, then you may find that a college residence is the right place for you. All four college residences are much smaller than Waterloo Residences, which means you'll get to know almost everyone!
Overview
- Smaller communities with rooms for approximately
200 students each. - Most spaces for first-year students are in traditional-
style rooms. - All four colleges have all-inclusive meal plans rather
than the declining-debit WatCard dollars used by
Waterloo Residences.
For more information on the University College Residences visit:

- St. Jerome's University
- St. Paul’s (also offers accommodation for graduate students)
The University College Residences are not-for-profit institutions that are independent, but affiliated with the larger uWaterloo campus. Each University College is a smaller community with its own character and distinctive programs where you can get involved and contribute. You are encouraged to check out each website and arrange a visit to see for yourself.
