Health and dental plans

The Federation of Students (FEDS) and Graduate Student Association (GSA) Health & Dental Plans are grassroots initiatives driven by students who expressed a need for Waterloo’s student governments to provide low-cost coverage to their members. In the Fall of 2004 and in the Winter of 2005, students voted in support of instituting dental plans for students and their families. The Student Supplementary Health Plan, previously under the administration of the University of Waterloo, will now be under the administration of the FEDS and the GSA. The newly combined FEDS/GSA Health & Dental Plans will be in effect as of Sept. 1, 2006. The Plan covers many important services not covered by your basic health plan, such as prescription drugs, vision care, dental care, travel health coverage, and more.
