Program fees

Visit Waterloo's finance website for a current fee schedule. Approximate tuition and incidental fees for Canadian and Permanent Residents is $2,700 per term. International students should expect to pay approximately $6,200 per term.

Awards

The Master of Peace and Conflict Studies (MPACS) program provides a limited number of scholarships and bursaries but does not guarantee financial support or provide teaching or research assistantships.

Students may be eligible for other Waterloo scholarships and bursaries, external funding, or loans. Information on external scholarships can be found through Online Scholarship Database Search Engine at the Graduate Studies Office website.

Information on major external scholarships is coordinated by the Graduate Studies Office.

Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP)

MPACS students may be eligible for an OSAP loan, and also for University of Waterloo bursary assistance when an OSAP loan is not sufficient. Please note that a typical OSAP application will normally take 6 weeks to process; an application which may require special consideration could take 8 to 10 weeks to process.

Check out Waterloo's office for Student Awards and Financial Aid for more information on financial support.
