- Your photo could be you watching the convocation ceremony, a socially distanced celebration, or a photo created with the convocation photobooth.
Selection process
The contest committee will select one winning submission based on the following:
- The quality of the photo
- The creativity of your submission
- Bonus points if you incorporate your pink tie
Prize
The winner will be awarded a University of Waterloo Contemporary Diploma Frame.
Submissions will be shared on social media and the Math website.
The winner will be contacted by email on October 25, 2021 to arrange details to receive their prize.
Rules
- This contest is only open to University of Waterloo Faculty of Mathematics students that are convocating on October 22, 2021.
- There is no limit to how many photos you can submit. Multiple submissions = multiple chances to win.
- Submitted photos must belong to the participant.
- Entries may not contain profanity, nudity, pornographic images, violent images, anti-competition messages, illegal material, drugs or alcohol, or material that violates the rights of third parties.
- By entering the contest, you consent to the University of Waterloo using any material submitted for promotional purposes without compensation or notice.
