Joseph Castello

Joseph Castello holds degrees from the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford and the Northwestern School of Music. Joseph Castello was principal trombonist with Orchestra London for eight seasons and a member of the U.S. Military Academy Band at West Point for three years.

He has been principal trombonist with the Canadian Chamber Ensemble and the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony since 1983. He currently teaches at Wilfrid Laurier University and at Conrad Grebel University College at the University of Waterloo. He has taught at the University of Western Ontario, National Music Camp of Canada, the New Mexico Music Festival at Taos and the Southampton Music Festival.
