What is the corporatepass?
- The GRT corporatepass is a discounted transit pass for Waterloo Staff, CUPE and Faculty.
What are the advantages of the corporatepass versus the usual monthly pass?
• It costs less: $54.05 per month instead of $63.00 (biweekly rate is $24.95)
• More convenient:
-a special photo ID corporate card will be issued to all participants
-monthly fee is deducted directly through payroll.
-no need to purchase money tickets
Who is eligible?
- All full and part-time permanent staff, CUPE, and faculty employees of the University of Waterloo are eligible.
Who is not eligible?
- Grad Students, College employees, non permanent staff or employees on casual earnings
Who is organizing the corporatepass?
- The GRT corporatepass program at Waterloo is being organized by the Waterloo Staff Association (UWSA), in conjunction with Parking Services, Human Resources and Finance. Please note that the program is available to all staff (as noted above) and is not limited to UWSA members.
How do I sign up?
- Parking Services will handle individual enrollments – but you will then need to go to a GRT facility to get your photo identification. Parking Services is located in the Commissary Building on Ring Road,
Can I sign up for the winter months only?
- No, this program cannot be used for the winter only.
It is tax deductible?
- Yes, you will receive documentation at tax time from Waterloo to use on your tax return.
