** PACS 301-03 is a new course. A brief description is provided below:
This course is designed to explore ethical challenges and dilemmas in international peace-building. It seeks to answer the questions: what ethical problems and dilemmas arise in peace-building? How can we assess these situations? And, how can we improve ethical peace-building practice? The course aims to broaden students' understanding of applied ethics, ethical challenges in peace-building, and to explore theoretical and conceptual tools for analysing and responding to ethical challenges and dilemmas.
