I am pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Schneider as Associate Director, Curriculum and Assessment. Eric will have primary responsibility for the development, implementation and ongoing oversight of the entry-to-practice PharmD curriculum and will continue to lead our efforts related to assessment. Implementation of this recently approved program is a massive administrative task requiring the development of a curriculum for students entering in January 2014, transitional programs for some of our current classes, and a bridging program for all graduates of the undergraduate BScPharm program at the University of Waterloo.
Eric will work closely in this position with Nancy Waite who will continue in her position as Associate Director, Practice-based Education. The addition of Eric to the administrative team will allow Nancy to focus primarily on the experiential education component of the entry-to-practice PharmD curriculum.
