Paul McDonald My research informs the development and implementation of public health policies, communication campaigns, and programs, especially those related to the prevention of chronic diseases and reducing health inequalities. My most recent work has focused on building capacity in public health research, using “systems thinking” to improve the impact of population health interventions and health care systems, reducing health inequalities, and ways to improve health warnings on tobacco products.
