Graham R. Campbell

Photo of Graham R. Campbell Mr. Campbell is currently the Associate Director of Energy, Environment and Technology at The Conference Board of Canada, leading the Board's networks and research in energy sustainability, climate change adaptation, corporate carbon disclosure and clean energy.

In his former position as Director General, Office of Energy Research and Development (OERD), Mr. Campbell was responsible for Natural Resources Canada's energy S&T programs which provided the strategic direction and $80m of annual funding for R and D for energy technologies in federal departments and the private sector.

His earlier experience in energy includes work in oil and gas exploration with Shell Canada Resources in Calgary, in regulation of gas exports, drilling operations and geophysical surveying with the National Energy Board, and in resource assessments with Natural Resources Canada and the Department of Indian and Northern Affairs.

Graham served as chair of the International Energy Agency's senior technology committee from 2003-2008 and was the Co-Chair of the International Partnership for the Hydrogen Economy (IPHE) from 2007-2008.

Mr. Campbell is a graduate of the University of Waterloo (Physics) and the University of British Columbia (Metal Physics). He is a member of the Association of Petroleum Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA).
