John A. Coburn

BSc '72 (Chemistry)

Ten years of working with Environment Canada provided Mr Coburn with experience and recognition (he was awarded the Government of Canada Merit Award for "dedication, devotion and excellence in work") to move into a leadership role developing a small Canadian company, Zenon, from its inception to its current place as a world leader in design and supply of water and wastewater treatment systems.

With a primary focus on environmental and clean-energy technology, Mr Coburn began investing in and providing strategic, financial, and operational expertise to company management. His current position as Managing Director of XPV Capital Corporation, utilizes his scientific, business and financial experience.

He is a recognized leader in his field. John currently donates his time and talents as Director and committee member to various businesses, environmental associations and Boards.
