Thomas Boivin is President of Hatfield Consultants Partnership, an environmental consulting firm based in West Vancouver, B.C.

Mr. Boivin has over 20 years experience in the environmental sector, and has worked in tropical, temperate, and Arctic environments around the world. He has acted as Team Leader or Project Manager for environmental and social assessment projects in Canada, Indonesia, the Greater Mekong Sub-region, South Asia, South America, and Europe.

Since 1994, Mr. Boivin has played a key role in Hatfield's work with the Government of Vietnam to address the Agent Orange dioxin contamination issue. Prior to joining Hatfield in 1992, Mr. Boivin spent 5 years working with the Inuit of Northern Quebec, assisting in fisheries development programs and assessing chemical contamination in Arctic food items. His experience includes working with private industry, national and local governments, and non-government organizations towards sustainable development of natural resources.
