Honours Science (Regular only)

About

Offering you the widest choice, Honours Science is our most flexible and versatile program. If you're not sure what your main interest is or prefer the flexibility of a non-major program, Honours Science lets you sample different science courses in your first 2 years. You may then decide on a major at any time up to third year.

Beyond the classroom

If you're considering further training in the health professions, the Honours Science program gives you the ability to choose the required courses for medical, chiropractic, dental, or other professional schools you've targeted. Because this program is offered only through our regular system of study, you can complete your program and go on to professional studies in less than 4 years.

First year courses

Only 12 of your 21 credits must be in Science, so you'll have plenty of room to add interesting courses in gerontology, languages, humanities, fine arts, kinesiology, and many other areas of study. Getting a minor in subjects like computer science or math is easy to do and adds to your marketability.

Upper year courses

With the honours science program, your choices after first year are totally up to you. As long as 6 of your 10 courses per year are science related courses, you can choose whatever courses you want. Here is a list of some of the upper year science courses available to you.
