For Tiffney Hill, receiving the Suncor Emerging Leadership Award has provided her with a realm of new possibilities.

The Suncor Emerging Leaders Award program was established to help address Canada’s growing labour needs and to aid postsecondary students in disciplines related to Suncor’s business, such as business, geology, geophysics and environmental earth sciences. The award is given to students in their first or second year of study and, conditional on meeting annual requirements, will be given in subsequent years until graduation.
With the support of a scholarship in place, Tiffney can now focus on her future.
I am considering the possibility of pursuing a career in research after graduation,” she says.
