 Community gathers near the Living Wall at the grand opening of the Waterloo Summit Centre for the EnvironmentLocated in Huntsville, Ontario, and nestled in the beautiful Muskoka region, the Waterloo Summit Centre for the Environment is a year-round research, teaching and community centre.  Part of the University of Waterloo, the university is establishing the Centre as a high-profile research centre for ecology, climate change, tourism, land-use planning, and local economic development.

With on-site residence style accommodations, it also serves as an idyllic setting for small conferences, academic and professional training courses, workshops, meetings and field exercises.
