Amanda McKenzie from the University of Waterloo participated in a WCET Webcast on The Cheating Economy and Integrity. The webcast highlights the growing cheating cartel industry, technological solutions to counter against bots looking for course content, and positive actions institutions can take to promote and protect integrity.

Turnitin Use at a Canadian University

"Turnitin Use a Canadian University", written by Christine Zaza and Amanda McKenzie, was published in The Canadian Journal for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. While traditionally used as plagiarism-detection software, Turnitin can also be useful for student self-assessment. The article explore the features of Turnitin, student satisfaction, and the need to better communicate and message its use at our institution.
