Information for

Barriers to Customer Service

The University of Waterloo disseminates information regarding a temporary disruption in services such as elevators, washroom facilities, access to IT, etc.

Notices are posted including estimated timelines and every effort will be made to ensure that the public is notified.

The University of Waterloo has established a feedback process so that persons with disabilities are able to comment on the provision of goods or services provided to them.

If you have experienced a barrier to access goods or services please contact AccessAbility Services by phone (519-888-4567 ext. 35082), email, fax (519-746-2401) or in person at Needles Hall, room 1401.

We will collaborate with you and all university departments and services to remedy the barrier and to create a reasonable outcome with the goal to create an equitable opportunity for all customers of the university.

If you experience a barrier outside of regular office hours please contact Plant Operations and/or Police Services.
