Research Associate

Alexander's research research focus is on control and locomotion of humanoid robots.

AlexanderWernerResearch Interests

Making use of the new RoboHub Facilities, his goal is to kick-starting research on control and locomotion of humanoid robots at UWaterloo. The ultimate research goal is to create a framework for robot locomotion which combines robustness with performance.

His previous work for the Institute for Robotics and Mechatronics at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) was in the area of robot locomotion and intrinsically elastic walking robot.
