Convocation marks your official transformation from student to alumnus. As a graduate, you’ll want to:
- Join Alumni Relations after the ceremony for the official reception to celebrate your status as a Waterloo alumnus. It’s complimentary, so bring your family and friends.

Be a part of the “CONVO-sation” on Twitter with #uwaterloograd. Send congratulatory messages and share memories that will be displayed on the live Twitter feed during your ceremony and reception.
