Thanks to everyone who cheered the Raptors to victory! More than 250 University of Waterloo alumni were on hand to enjoy a great game. Response to this event was fast and furious, and we plan to offer a similar event in the new year.
Over 300 alumni, students and family members dressed in University of Waterloo bucket hats went 'on safari' for University of Waterloo Day at African Lion Safari! Guests were treated to an elephant tug-of-war, animal encounter with baby cheetahs, an all-you-can-eat BBQ lunch, and a chance to tour the Game Reserves and come face-to-face with a variety of animals such as lions, monkeys, zebras, giraffes, rhinos and more.

More than 80 alumni and friends gathered at the Canadian Warplane Heritage to reconnect and network while enjoying the unique aviation-themed environment provided in the museum. Guests were also able to view the priceless aviation collection, take guided tours of the museum and win prizes in the business card draw.
Over 200 alumni, friends and students enjoyed a provocative play about how and why the United States went to war in Iraq. Stuff Happens brought to the stage an ongoing story of international importance, with characters and dialogue seemingly ripped from today's headlines.
Guests were treated to the opportunity to chat with the actors in a post-performance talk-back session. Thanks to all our guests that attended this alumni theatre night in Toronto.
Over 140 University of Waterloo alumni and friends braved the snowy conditions and cheered on the Toronto Raptors as they took on the Washington Wizards at the Air Canada Centre. Despite the Raptors losing a close game in overtime, a great time was had by all and one lucky alumnus won the grand prize draw of an autographed authentic TJ Ford jersey!

The Warriors men's basketball team played in front of a great crowd on Fantastic Alumni, Faculty and Staff Day as Waterloo lost to the Windsor Lancers in a nail-biter of a game that came down to the final buzzer.
