Alumni networking event at the Art Gallery of Ontario

It was a full house at the AGO as 400 University of Waterloo alumni and friends dressed up for an evening of sophistication. The crowd enjoyed a presentation by special guest Daniel Lalonde, BMath '87, President and CEO of Louis Vuitton North America.

It was a memorable evening of networking, cocktails, fashion and art, including private access to the 4th and 5th floors of the newly renovated AGO.

University of Waterloo Day at the Toronto Zoo

Thanks to the nearly 200 alumni and friends who attended University of Waterloo's Day at the Toronto Zoo. While it is true that it hasn't been the greatest summer for weather, and our day at the zoo was no exception, we were very pleased that the rain held off until after our picnic lunch. Thanks to all the 'alumni in training' for being such willing subjects for these wonderful photos!

Alumni discussion on Waterloo's role in public service

Thank you to the enthusiastic group of alumni and friends who joined us at the Canadian Museum of Civilization to discuss the University of Waterloo's role in public service. We were overwhelmed with the positive response to this invitation and look forward to keeping everyone informed with the progress of this exciting initiative.

Thanks to our table moderators and scribes for keeping our ideas on track, and also to our door prize winners. Your participation and insightful thoughts and ideas made this session a huge success!
