As the Coordinator of the Anabaptist Learning Workshop, Matthew’s work includes organizing workshops, public speaking, program evaluation, and consulting with participants and instructors. In addition to this work, Matthew is continuing his doctoral studies in Adult Education and Community Development at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto.
He received his MA in Peace Studies from Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart, IN (2003) and his BA in Religious Studies from the University of Waterloo (2000). In prior years, Matthew worked as a researcher with the Centre for Community-Based Research, peace education worker with Mennonite Central Committee Ontario, crisis intervention trainer with the Canadian Training Institute, and as a pastor in two Mennonite congregations.
