What is the AHS Conference Camera

The AHS Conference Camera is a video/audio conference camera, microphone and speaker.

The unit is designed to be used in smaller meeting rooms but has been used successfully in rooms as large as the Sun Life Auditorium.

The AHS Conference Camera can be used with Windows or Mac computers and most of the commonly used video conferencing solutions.

How do I book it?

The AHS Conference Camera is a bookable resource in the Connect calendar. Simply create a calendar meeting and invite the "AHS Conference Camera" as an attendee (search for "AHS Conference Cameral"). Your request will be moderated and (most likely) approved.

Thirty (30) minutes prior to the start of your meeting, pick up the Conference Camera from the Faculty of Health Reception in Dean's Office on the 3rd floor (BMH-3104).

How do I use it?

  1. Assemble the camera by placing the camera ball in the socket of the base unit or on top of the extension bar to elevate the camera (this is the best option for small group meeting.

  2. Plug in the power cable and connect the USB cable to your computer.
  3. In your conferencing software, select the Logitech Conference Camera (BCC950) as you microphone, video camera and speaker. If you are using the camera in a location where external speaker are available, you may choose to use those speakers instead of the conference camera.
  4. You can use the remote to control/rotate the camera as needed.
