Momentum is building towards the completion of our AHS (Applied Health Sciences) strategic plan.
As part of the consultation process, we invite faculty, staff, students, and stakeholders to join us for a Faculty-wide discussion of the draft plan.
Our strategic plan will guide our efforts to 2018 so we encourage you to participate and we welcome your feedback!
Hosted by the Graduate Association of Recreation and Leisure Studies (GARLS), the Graduate Leisure Research Symposium aims to advance discourses of knowledge surrounding leisure research (recreation, sport, tourism, therapeutic recreation, and the like) and facilitate scholarly communication among students and faculty interested in various aspects of leisure research.
The Faculty of Applied Health Sciences will be hosting the second annual AHS Graduate Student Research Conference on May 2, 2013. The conference is an opportunity to highlight the breadth and the excellence of the graduate student research being conducted across the faculty. It will provide a forum for graduate students to present their research to faculty, students and other expert colleagues.
