Finding solutions to nutritional vulnerability in older adults

Friday, October 2, 2015 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EDT (GMT -04:00)

Poor food intake is common in older adults in Canada and can lead to functional problems, poor immunity, reduced healing, and frailty.

Meal quality, mealtime experience, and meal access (M3) all influence food intake which can be supported by older adults, their families, and providers.

Join Professor Heather Keller as she discusses the Making the Most of Mealtimes and More-2-Eat projects as a response to this issue.

Opening remarks by University of Waterloo President Feridun Hamdullahpur. Feel free to bring your lunch — light refreshments will be provided.
