Professor Mihailidis' research is focused on the development of intelligent home systems for elder care and wellness, and adaptive tools for nurses and clinical applications.

Hosted by the Network for Aging Research, this second annual lecture is presented in honour of William Forbes, a pioneer in the field of gerontology and the founding director of the Gerontology program at the University of Waterloo, Canada’s first English-language graduate program in gerontology.
