2020 Teaching and TA Awards announced

Congratulations to Chris Vigna from the Department of Kinesiology for receiving the 2020 Applied Health Sciences (AHS) Teaching Award. He is described as "an enthusiastic, engaging instructor. Chris goes the extra mile to make his courses energizing and meaningful, bringing passion and a great sense of humour to every lecture."

The Faculty awards this recognition every year to the instructor who exhibits exceptional teaching quality and inspires students to transform the way they think, learn, read, act or live their lives.

Congratulations as well to the following students for receiving the 2020 AHS TA Awards. The TA Awards come with a monetary prize and are awarded to TAs who demonstrate a strong commitment to the overall learning, academic and personal growth of students, among other things:

  • Justin Davidson (Kinesiology)
  • Liliana Bressan (SPHHS)
  • Jaylyn Leighton (Recreation and Leisure Studies)

All awards are chosen by the Teaching Fellows team and nominations are aceepted throughout the year.
