Kinesiology, Co-op

NathaniaWhat I like best about my program

I love the fact that I am able to share what I’m learning about human health, function, and movement to those around me in a practical and relevant way. Not only do I get to learn from knowledgeable and enthusiastic experts in the field, but I am also gaining the confidence that I have the ability to translate this useful information to friends, family, and the general public.

Outside the classroom

Outside of the classroom, I'm involved with:

  • UWaterloo and Applied Health Sciences (AHS) Ambassadors
  • weCONNECTu, a peer mentorship program for AHS students
  • Orientation Week

  • Special Events Residence Ambassadors

  • UW WELL-FIT and Brain & Body

  • Student Trainer for UW Athletic Therapy

  • UW Mambo Club

  • UW Acapella Club (AcaBellas and Unaccompanied Minors)

Co-op experiences

  • Clinical Assistant
  • Student Kinesiologist
  • Undergraduate Research Assistant, University of Waterloo Occupational Biomechanics and Ergonomics Lab

One more thing to know about me

My career aspiration is to become a physical therapist and I hope to become successful enough to successfully provide for a family of at least 3 dogs :)
