Cairo Public Spaces: Mapping and Interventions

Manar Moursi’s work spans the fields of architecture, urbanism, design and art. A graduate of the University of Virginia’s undergraduate program of architecture, Manar also holds a dual Master’s Degree in Architecture and Urban Policy from Princeton University. In 2011 she founded Studio Meem, an interdisciplinary design and research studio. Her design work has been published widely and has received multiple awards, including the ThyssenKrupp Elevator Architecture Award, as well as the Red Dot and God Design Awards. Her portfolio includes built projects in Kuwait and Egypt. Her latest design work, was launched in the Ventura Lambrate section of the Salon International del Mobile in Milan in 2014.
