Waterloo Architecture Professor Philip Beesley will be hosting a DigitalFUTURES panel marking the opening of the Venice Architecture Biennale on Saturday, May 22 at 10am EDT. Philip will be joined by architects, artists and researchers Niccolo Casas (Italy), Daniella Mitterberger & Tiziano Derme/MAIED (Austria), David Benjamin (USA) and Salvador Breed/4DSOUND (Netherlands). First glimpses of their exhibits at the Biennale will be shared under the unifying theme of Living Architecture. Together they will be discussing the theme of this year's Biennale - How will we live together? - and the possibilities offered by extending and opening our boundaries.

Collaborators Beesley and Breed will present the UWSA/LASG project Grove, now on view within the Arsenale in Venice. Passages from their new CGI-based film Grove Cradle, directed by Warren Du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones, will be included.
