option
studio
offers
students
the
opportunity

immersed
in
digital
capabilities
not
only
as
production
tools
but
as
design
media
in
and
of
themselves.
Muscular
Architecture
Active
bending
can
reinvent
the
way
structures
are
designed
and
built.
It
is
within
this
new
paradigm
that
natural
materials
can
play
a
significant
role
in
the
development
of
more
sustainable
and
economical
material
practices
in
architecture.
Muscular
Architecture
aims
to
investigate
the
possibilities
of
a
bending-active
structure
based
on
interactive
joints
in
order
to
create
an
adaptive
system.
